FFXIV Healers should be using them frequently, but not recklessly. Yes, healer Limit Break restores HP which isn't too special, but it also Esunas all debuffs. Which means if your team is fighting and a everyone is full of Summoner DoTs. Pop and Limit Break. Boom. SMNs can't Bane or Fester your party now!

 

The cast time isn't that bad. The only thing that really sucks is that you can't use it while fleeing (or Swiftcast it). Since healers can't really attack, they spend a lot of time fleeing and/or dying. Removing the cast time would at least give them another instant heal when they're running, which would help a lot (I mean, if they're gonna die they're gonna lose it anyway. Why not try to save yourself with it?)

 

I think the reason why you probably don't see healers use it often is because healers usually have the most deaths in a game, and dying/getting interrupted lower the Limit Break (like, it's no longer full). Some healers use their Limit Break as a last ditch effort (as their alliances are starting to flee), which makes it more likely for them to be interrupted as they're more vulnerable at that point.

 

Whenever I get stuck solo healing the 23 other people in my FFXIV Grand Company, my Limit Break never fills in those matches because I get hounded and die so frequently.

The next set of spells are offensive AoEs

The first move you learn is an offensive spell, due to the way level grinding works, you need to kill mobs. There will also be a 170 potency version of this spell, (I say usually because Ruin II is not only the same potency as Ruin, but the 170 spell is unrelated to the Ruin series. Stone II and Malefic II do fit)

The FFXIV Machinist should have been kicked for being an idiot

Knock back moves are not necessary to the full dps rotation of any class. It's more of a tool than a dps asset, and can easily be ignored or saved for when you might actually need it.

As for the dungeon, Haukke manor can be tricky if you're not level 30. Most healers don't get their second heal until 30, so you will need to use some extra tricks if you need to burst heal.

Draw will only cool down for up to 15 seconds before the card already drawn must be used to continue the cooldown. At level 40, FFXIV Astrologian receives the ability Spread, with no cooldown, into which a drawn card can be saved.
